The overview
The second version of Ambitionless ID began with a design refresh. Alongside the new look, the website supports a community where people can create accounts, publish posts, and share code snippets.
My contribution
I was the sole developer, implementing a supplied visual design and building both the frontend and backend. My scope included authentication, the blog, and the code-snippet collection.
What it does
Member accounts
Public signup and authentication let members sign in to the platform.
Community publishing
Registered members can publish posts and share content with others.
Code-snippet collection
Members can share code snippets alongside the platform’s blog content.
How it’s built
The main technical challenge was building the full-stack application myself. I used the Next.js 13 App Router for the frontend, Hono for the backend, MySQL for data storage, and Tailwind CSS to implement the supplied design. The project reached beta.
